Sandhills Community College is expanding advanced manufacturing training in Hoke County with evening and weekend Foundations of Mechanical Systems classes at the new Workforce Trades Building - Hoke in Raeford.

The hands-on training covers electrical and mechanical systems, installation and maintenance, troubleshooting, safe work practices and preparation for advanced training in automation and robotics. Students who successfully complete the course are guaranteed a job interview with participating regional employers.
